John ErvinJohn Ervin is the award-winning director of seven films and four live theatre productions. His first movie, the German expressionist feature "Made in Berlin" was shot on 16mm black-and-white in 1997. His midnight movie, "Vixen Highway", from 2001, won Best International Director at Toronto's Twisted Sinema Festival. The futuristic dominatrix-rehab fable, "Proinhibition", followed in 2003 and has been shown at CineKink of New York and Sexy Film Fest of Australia. "Citizen 'Caine", his 2013 chronicle of a coke-addicted father's search for his missing daughter in the underbelly of Hollywood, has been featured at ten international festivals. His most recent film, "The Tiki War", a "Mad Men"-era noir piece from 2014 set in a tiki bar in 1961 Chicago, at twenty. John has written and directed four live theatre productions for the Minnesota Fringe Festival, including the Elvis-meets-Michele-Bachmann musical "Catfight!" and the Osama-bin-Laden-meets-Fashion-Week comedy "The Devil Wears 9/11."
