Keira SmithKeira Smith is a graduate of the University of the Highlands and Islands in Inverness. She is an actor, writer and theatre creator based in Scotland. She graduated in 2020, during the pandemic, with an Honours Degree in Drama and Performance. She has continued to write and do work with LGBTQIA+ themes, having a piece recently feature at the virtual Highland Pride Winter Pride event. The piece included testimonies from the LGBTQIA+ community in the Highlands.
She is part of a grassroots theatre collective; Vivid Roots Collective, that focuses on original pieces based on social equality and making theatre and performance accessible for all. They hope to host virtual work-in-progresses through 2021, with the expectation of showing new live theatre in 2022. Keira and her work can be found through her social media.
