Marco Antonio RodriguezBorn and raised in New York City with roots from the Dominican Republic, Marco Antonio is a multiple award-winning actor, writer, producer and director who holds an MFA in acting from Southern Methodist University and a second MFA in television and screenwriting from Stephens College. As an actor he has performed in numerous stage shows around the nation including Latinologues, Midsummer Night's Dream: the Musical, Kidnap Road and La Caída de Rafael Trujillo. He has also been seen and heard in numerous television shows, commercials, films and radio. His award-winning stage plays La Luz de un Cigarrillo, Barceló on the Rocks and In the Name of Salomé have been performed all over the world including Argentina, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. His most recent play, a smash hit stage adaptation of Junot Díaz' Pulitzer Prize-Winning novel, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, premiered last year at New York's Repertorio Español and is scheduled to return in 2021. His first full length screenplay, Suffer the Children, was recently named a quarterfinalist in Screencraft's Screenplay Competition and Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition - Horror Category.
